LACKERED is a collection of repurposed objects defined by a reverence for brutalist, organic, and geometric form.  Our studio sources vintage and contemporary pieces, along with commissioned works—each selected for its structure, proportion and presence.

Color is integral to our process. Each custom shade is developed through our lens in close collaboration with our colorist, resulting in dense, deliberately sultry tones.

Every object undergoes a period of study as we live with it in its original state to identify what we feel is lacking. As the vision takes shape, we begin to construct and deconstruct in dialogue with our creative team—welding, soldering, casting, carving and painting—to reimagine the object while preserving its inherent beauty.

All of our pieces are meticulously adapted by hand, and no two are alike—creating singular works intended to evoke emotion and start a conversation.
